Your Permanent Exterior Painting Solution.
Do It Once, and Be Done! |
|
Our crews begin each job by pressure washing the surface with a degreaser and a mildewcide to clean the surface and remove any loose, peeling paint. |
|
Next, we replace or repair all bad wood and surfaces. This step is important because a paint job will likely fail if the surfaces underneath are not prepared properly or are not in good condition. We also apply bonding agent/primer to the back side (as well as the top side) of any replaced wood to give it extra protection. |
|
We then scrape and sand to remove any loose paint and replace any deteriorating caulk with a very high-quality sealant/caulk in the areas we are working in. |
Step One: Pressure Wash |
Step Two: Repair Bad Surfaces |
Step Three: Scrape, Sand, & Caulk |
Step Four: Bonding Agent |
|
Next, we apply a bonding agent to the entire surface that is to receive the topcoat. It is important to apply the bonding agent to the entire surface because it prepares the surface to receive the topcoat of DuraLast Hi-Performance Coatings.
The bonding agent is a primer specially formulated to work the with DuraLast topcoat which bonds with the bonding agent and adheres firmly to it. The bonding agent also acts as an extra layer of protection against the elements. |
Step Five: DuraLast Hi-Performance Exterior Coatings |
|
Finally, the DuraLast topcoat is applied. Even though it is an extraordinarily thick liquid, it flows freely through a high pressure sprayer.
While normally sprayed on, DuraLast might be brushed or rolled on trim or in tight places. |
